Minister of Social Affairs, Richard Kouyomdjian, concluded the preparatory meeting for the launch of the National Plan for Social Protection, which will include ministries, agencies and civil society associations concerned with the subject of social protection.
"The plan should be realistic so that the citizen can sense its results in terms of the services provided," he said.
"Social affairs have a role in drawing up the plan, but there is a role for the ministries concerned and the Lebanese government," Kouyoumdjian added, underlining "the importance of coordination with the prime minister and his team to ensure that the plan will not remain ink on paper."
