Minister of Labor Sejaan Qazzi pointed out Sunday that Iran is behind the delay of Lebanon's presidential polls, urging Prime Minister Tamam Salam to call for a cabinet session soon.
In an interview with Okaz Saudi daily, Qazzi noted that other camp insists on the obstruction in order to impose its local conditions and to implement its foreign agenda, adding that Hezbollah Party does not oppose Gen. Chamel Roukoz as the new army commander, however the "we cannot limit the candidates to one name."
"The cabinet's crisis will resume until Salam takes a decision to hold a session, because if we wait for the recalcitrant parties then there will be no government and no cabinet session," Qazzi concluded.
