US State Department issues Lebanon travel warning
In a statement issued on its official website, the US Department of State urged U.S. citizens to avoid all travel to Lebanon because of ongoing safety and security concerns.

"U.S. citizens living and working in Lebanon should understand that they accept the risks of remaining in the country and should carefully consider those risks.  In the past two years, two U.S. citizens have died in bombings, and two have been kidnapped, according to information available to the U.S. government," the statement read.
