Small Things You Can Do to Look More Attractive

How do you make yourself look more attractive?

It's a question that has plagued mankind for generations.

We've seemingly tried everything, but we still haven't come up with a formula that works.

Well, thanks to thread on reddit, the collective minds of the Internet have tried to list some of the simplest ways we can appeal to someone else.

1. Look people in the eyes

This is so easy but grossly under-appreciated.

Maintaining eye contact is the best way to showcase confidence and interest.

However, be careful not to turn this kill into a stare.

Staring can be creepy and might incite aggression.

2. Correct your posture

Look. We're not mopey teenagers anymore with our head in the sand.

Correct your posture, stand up straight with your chin in the air.

You'll stand out from the crowd.

It'll also save you from having a bad back.

3. Keep yourself clean

This should be obvious, but it's easy to forget.

Bad breath, B.O, unclean teeth, dirty fingernails, greasy hair, unkept facial hair and stained clothes are a big no,no.

Even if you have the looks of a superstar, a dirty appearance can bring all that crashing down.

4. Wear fitted clothing

We can't all be style icons but wearing the right clothes can go a long way.

Wear clothes that compliment your figure the best.

They don't have to be the biggest names on the high street but just make sure you feel comfortable and at your best.

5. Drink plenty of water - Your skin will look hydrated, normal, and healthy

This is underrated but really important.

Not only is it good to stay hydrated, but plenty of H20 will do wonders for your skin.

6. Get some sleep

This isn't easy for everyone, but sleep will help you look more attractive and keep you fresh and alert.

Those bags under your eyes will disappear and you'll wake up as fresh as a daisy.

7. Stop talking and listen

We've all got opinions these days, but it's worth listening to others every now and again.

Especially to someone that you find attractive.

8. Smile

Never ever undervalue the power of a smile.

One user on the thread quoted the author Roald Dahl and we couldn't have said it better ourselves.

"A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely."
