Minister of Finance, Dr. Youssef Khalil, on Friday received a delegation from the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), headed by ESCWA’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Rola Dashti.

Discussions reportedly touched on the financial and economic conditions prevailing over the country, and ESCWA's readiness to support the implementation of the required reforms through providing the Ministry with technical expertise, as per the Finance Minister’s Press Office.
