Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib on Friday met in his office at the Ministry with a number of diplomats who offered him congratulations on his new ministerial post.

In this framework, Minister Bou Habib met with Argentina's Ambassador to Lebanon, Mauricio Alice, and they discussed the means to activate the bilateral relations and agreements between the two countries, and the important role played by the Lebanese community in Argentina.

Bou Habib then received the Ambassador of Romania to Lebanon, Radu Catalin Mardare, who affirmed his Country's keenness to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Minister Bouhabib also met with the Head of the Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Lebanese Republic, Yerzhan Kalekenov, who handed him a congratulatory letter from Kazakhstani Prime Minister.

Discussions also touched on the prospects of strengthening and developing trade relations between the two countries.

Moreover, Bou Habib met with Ukrainian Ambassador to Lebanon, Igor Eustache, with whom he discussed the bilateral and trade relations between the two countries, and the possibility of holding a meeting of the joint economic committee, at a date to be determined later.
