Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Friday met at the Pentagon with the Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Dr. Mara Karlin, who affirmed her country's unwavering support for the Lebanese army, deeming it a main security partner. 

Karlin also heaped praise on the army’s performance and role in preserving internal stability.
