Citizens, whose cars ran out of gas, blocked the roads in various Lebanese regions on Friday in protest against the current situation, and called on officials to immediately address the fuel crisis.
However, both the unions of gas station owners and fuel distributors confirmed that their strike will continue "until further notice".
For the second day in a row, gas stations across the country stopped selling fuel, while work in some companies was only limited to delivering diesel fuel to hospitals and owners of generators.
