Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has said everyone must pressure Israel to prevent a ground invasion of Gaza’s southern city of Rafah – the last relatively safe place for the enclave’s displaced Palestinians.
“Such an attack would be another massacre,” he said in a statement on X.
Safadi also said “radicals in Israeli government [are] pushing an explosion [of the already tense situation] in West Bank”.
