Prime Minister Najib Mikati, on Thursday welcomed at the Grand Serail, Head of Iran’s "Strategic Council for Foreign Relations" Kamal Kharazi, in the presence of Iran's Ambassador Mojtaba Amani. 

The meeting discussed the local and regional situation, as well as bilateral relations between Lebanon and Iran. 

The Prime Minister separately held a meeting with Caretaker Minister of Finance Youssef Khalil, with whom he discussed preparations for next week’s cabinet session devoted to discussing public sector wages.
