Aoun meets delegation of Insurance Brokers Syndicate, Central Bank Governor

President Michel Aoun received Wednesday at Baabda palace Central Bank Governor, Riad Salameh, with whom he discussed the financial situation in the country.

On emerging, Salameh assured that the financial situation is stable, disclosing that Lebanon's Central Bank intends to launch a number of initiatives aimed at activating the nation's economy.

The Central Bank Governor also stressed that "the publication of the state budget 2019 is an important factor in financial regulation nationwide." 

On the other hand, President Aoun received at Baabda palace Head of the Lebanese Insurance Brokers Syndicate, Elias Hanna, and an accompanying delegation, who briefed him on the work of insurance brokers and the Syndicate's future projects in this domain. 

Aoun hailed the role played by insurance brokers in Lebanon and the insurance sector in particular.
